Suze Orman to Visit Lansing! Although it’s not scheduled
until May, it’s not too early to get your tickets to hear
public television’s favorite financial guru, Suze Orman,
during her upcoming Lansing appearance.
Orman will appear at MSU’s Wharton Center on May 3, at
7 p.m. Her visit is sponsored by the Capital Area District Library
(CADL) and State Employees Credit Union (SECU).
The author of several financial-advice books and host of a number
of public television specials based on those books, her newest
offering is For the Young, Fabulous and Broke.
The television special will premiere on WKAR-TV on Tuesday, March
8, at 8 and 10:05 p.m.
She also authored Suze Orman’s Financial Guidebook
and You’ve Earned It, Don’t Lose It and is
the host of her own weekend CNBC-TV show, and a contributing editor
to O: The Oprah Magazine. She also received the Daytime
Emmy Award in the category of Outstanding Service Show Host for
her PBS special, The Laws of Money, The Lessons of Life.
Books will be available for sale and autographing at the event
