Professors of Jazz Featured on "Jazz 'til Midnight"
Music from this past June’s East Lansing Summer Solstice Jazz Festival will highlight this week’s edition of Jazz ‘til Midnight on July 26.
Sophie Millman performed with the MSU Professors of Jazz at the festival and selections from their performance will be featured.
Also on the program are vocals from Alison Ruhle and Joe Williams.
New releases include selections from Wayne Wallace, Lee Konitz, and Gerald Beckett, while flashback are from Hampton Hawes (1958), Harry James (1959), and Hank Mobley (1966).
Doug Collar hosts the weekly series.
