"QuizBusters" Division and Grand Championships in Prime!
WKAR will rebroadcast the QuizBusters division and grand championships in a 90-minute primetime extravaganza of rapid-fire questions and answers on Wednesday, July 9, at 8 p.m.
Play along with Green Division teams East Lansing and Jackson Lumen-Christi at 8 p.m. and White Division teams Fulton and Ovid-Elsie at 8:30 p.m. Then at 9 p.m., watch the grand championship match between East Lansing and Fulton.
The final game also marks the final QuizBusters match for captain Kurtis Droge, who in May drove the East Lansing High School Varsity Quiz Bowl team to a fifth-place finish at the National Academic Quiz Tournaments High School National Championships. In addition, Droge was named the tournament’s Number One All-Star. He achieved this honor by ranking number one in several categories, including the most points scored by one player.
