A Holiday Experience! Make Your Own Glass Paperweight
WKAR and Fireworks Glass will host an afternoon of creativity at Fireworks Glass’ Williamston studio on Saturday, December 5. The event begins at 10 a.m. and concludes at 5:40 p.m.
Guests will make a unique glass paperweight, perfect for giving to someone special over the holidays. Making the paperweight will take about 20 minutes. The cost for this event is $75 and proceeds will be divided between WKAR Radio and TV.
Telephone reservations are required, and the finished paperweight will be available for pick-up the following Wednesday or shipped at that time. To make a reservation call (517) 432-3120, Ext. 354.
Confirmation letters will be mailed on November 24 with directions to Fireworks Glass.
Williamston will be hosting holiday activities that day, offering those who come out to make a paperweight an opportunity to enjoy seasonal festivity and perhaps get a bit of holiday shopping done simultaneously.
