WKAR Education Coordinator Showcases Resources

WKAR education coordinator Susi Elkins will host an exhibit at the Michigan Association of Computer Users in Learning (MACUL) 2010 Professional Development Conference in March. 

Learn about all of the exciting free resources that PBS has to offer Michigan educators.  Susi will provide a guided tour of services such as PBS Teacherline and PBS Teachers, as well as specific tips on how these resources can be used in the classroom to excite students, differentiate learning and incorporate new technologies.

Ms. Elkins has a master's degree in Educational Technology from Michigan State University, and 11 years of experience working with educators, parents and students on innovative uses of technology in support of literacy and learning.  She has recently presented at the Michigan Association of Computer Users in Learning (MACUL) conference, and at the Michigan Association for the Education of Young Children (MiAEYC) Early Childhood conference.
