Event Description

Chromaville is a one-day coloring day event at the Delta Township District Library in Lansing, Michigan. Take a pleasant break from dreary winter weather for an hour or the entire day! Delta Township artist, Jane Reiter, hosts this event for patrons 14+, 10:30AM-3:30PM, in the Library’s Elmwood Room. Coloring pages, puzzles, wrapping paper, books, markers, crayons and pencils are available for coloring. Tables and chairs are provided so that participants can enjoy sitting, relaxing and coloring throughout the day. Reiter will conduct two short workshops during the day: • CLASS @ 11:30AM: Make a 6-page Coloring Book • Fold an 11x17” piece of paper into a small book. • CLASS @ 1:00PM: Make a little stapled Coloring Book • Use photocopies to create a little book. Reiter notes that the public are welcome to bring their own supplies and light refreshments. She is the volunteer coordinator of the Library’s Coloring Club for adults, which meets monthly in the Lissa McLean Room. She can be contacted through her website, www.retreadart.com.
