Event Description

Enjoy a fun afternoon of dance music!

Your toes will be tapping when the Jackson Community Concert Band presents its fall concert “Dance!” at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19 in the Potter Center. This concert will feature dance music from around the world, as well as dancers from the Spring Arbor Academy of the Arts on Bizet’s “Farandole,” Gaelic Storm’s “Irish Party in the Third Class,” and Khachaturian’s “Sabre Dance.” Also on the program will be “English Dances” by Malcolm Arnold, “Armenian Dances” by Alfred Reed, “Carnaval in São Paulo” by James Barnes, “Dublin Dances” by Jan Van der Roost, and Dansereye by Tielman Susato. Don’t miss this free event!
