This series of stories focuses on people who volunteer for non-profit organizations. These people are all giving something more valuable than their money -- they are giving their time to help make their community a better place to live.

The individuals featured in these stories are ordinary people just like you. As you watch these stories, we hope that you will learn more about the groups involved, realize how many different ways there are to help others, and, ultimately, that you will be more involved in your own community.

	MSU Tsunami Relief MSU students collect donations to help victims of the southeast Asia disaster.
	Teens Aiding the Cancer Community, Inc. A group of Novi teens stuffs backpacks with toys, then delivers them to cancer patients at area hospitals.
	Lansing Catholic Central Students from Lansing Catholic Central High School work to set up the Christmas store for the Salvation Army.
	Michigan State Medical Society A local brownie troop collects personal care items for local domestic violence shelters.
	Weymouth Elementary School Builders, parents and teachers get together to build a large wooden play structure for the group home.
